The UI;
Example is in the diplomacy window popping up when an AI has something to say, all the way to the left, why not in the middle? And why does it show twice ( the text and the respond button )
The AI;
The AI behave very aggressive, especially on higher difficulty, they instantly denounce you
because you either don't have enough cities, production, faith, culture or research or
Having a different goverment, which gets worse the higher the difficulty you are playing, due to them having more units and settlements.
Balance;
Engine;
General;
One of the problems with AI denouncing other AI is different government. There are 9 to choose from. Chances are you would hate each other. This has to stop. I cant see why Monarchy should hate Merchant Republic so much. Fascism against Democracy, I can understand.
Also, AI seems obsessed with building as many units as possible early on, up till their economy allows it, then, just stop. They hardly upgrade their units. A good way to test this is by going to war, kill their warriors+ slingers, and make peace. If they suddenly come out with a new army that is in line with technology, then surely there is a problem with AI's priority.
Finally, AI should also understand some simple combat order. For example, AI has Archer + Spearman against Spearman. It seems randomly attacking with either Archer or Spearman first, though we all would definitely attack with Archer and then Spearman. Perhaps if AI does this then it might be too difficult on higher difficulty?
(Note that If these were added as options, Advanced Setup in Civ 6 could continue to work as it does now for anyone who likes it as it is.
- We need the option to retain the Advanced Setup options. There's a 'Restore Defaults' button on the setup screen so there's no need for them to forcibly be reset each time.
- An option to manually set the number of city states.
- An option to maximize the space between the starting positions of civilizations.
- An option to manually set the number of large landmasses on the continents (or island plates) map type.
Great list so far!

edit: I'd also love the ability to rename cities.
Yea once your cities got the things they need they require almost nothing, apart from projects. Projects are 'okay' to get points, but, very early on you cannot get any great peeps anymore, imo there should be a lot more.
You can turn this off in the options.
My pet peeve is the spam of missionarys and apostles that happens all the time. I have had over 20 from different civs running round my cities fighting each oter and change the religion all the time. Worst thing about this is the way they block the hexes so you cannot place any of your troops etc on them.
#2 Tile Improvements - It is really hard to see quickly if a grid has been improved. I have to zoom in really close and on my laptop that means I can't see anything else.
#3 Speaking of Grids - Why can't I turn on a grid overlay. I want to see if my warrior is sitting in the city or near the city or a grid away from the city.
I'm sure I'll think of other stuff later but for now the inability to find my units is so frustrating that everything else fades away.
