Report a translation problem
The iOS version is an identical match (per vanilla/expansion) as the PC release. Minus some leader animations and some other fluff type of thing I think. The actual gameplay is EXACTLY the same. I'd imagine if that is how they are doing it on mobile, the XBox/PS versions will be exactly the same as well, and will maybe even include the extra fluff stuff the iOS version didn't get.
Perhaps someone who has played the switch version can comment as well, that is probably the better indicator of the incoming console ports.
I tested this several years ago. It wasn't very good back then.
But now I play exclusively on the Switch, with Pro Controller. UI is vastly superior to mouse and keyboard IMO, especially for unit movement.
