Stuck unit
In a game, wanted to send an Apostle to another Civ so the entire continent follows my religion.
The apostle then mets the front of the AI's army and proceeds to go into the middle of this huge army. It is now stuck with 1.5 movement left, it takes 4 spaces to move out following the road, and the patches that are clear are hills or needs to cross a river, requiring 2 movement causing it to be stuck.

Only action available to the Apostle is "move to". 1½ hours of gameplay wasted...

You cannot skip turn or delete the unit? for some people setting auto-explore helped, but apostles probably don't have that.

Identical to what just happend to my naturalist...a waste of 800 religion, can't more him now or click next turn. He was moving on his own towads a park spot and got himself stuck ON a unit of another civ and is surrounded by about 20 of the same unit. Unit spam by AI is ridiculous, hope a patch fixes the getting stuck and the unit spam.

But the only correct way to do this better that I see, is not allowing a unit to be created when there is already one, or holding the creation of the unit (while saving up to the prodection of one entire unit) and no more unit production until the city has space. Or forcing you to remove a unit if you can't do anything else but finish with two units on the same hex, which should be the state of things right now: is that possible right now, or is there a bug?

Not about creation, mine was in another civ's lands and for some reason allowed it to move on the same spot as a unit but was left with too few movement points to get back out of he mass of units. It might be a bug but the game as of now will not allow units of the same type of of different civs to end on the same tile, which was my case.

The bug probably is that it was allowed to get onto the same hex then. The turn not ending because they are on the same hex is the result. It's still a bug that needs to be corrected though.

Well I had the same problem, my abostle was stuck in enemy units and i had no option and i couldn't change turn , it's a bug , no doubt , if reloading , restarting game etc is not helping do what i did :
Declare war against owner of units surrounding your unit , they change their positions so you can go on with your game , not the best way but still better than losing 5 hrs gameplay :)

I know I'm necroing but I just got the same bug and the way around it if someone else gets here is to press Shift+Enter it will force-end your turn and the next turn when your movement is replenished you are able to unstuck units.
