Bug? No nuke animation?

Always a tradition in my first game in a new civ game. Drop the nuke! But I got no animation :( anyone else has this problem?

Did you have single-player fast combat on? That might be it, I'm not at home though so I can't check if it's divided into single and multi-player fast settings. If that sentence didn't make sense let me know lol

I nuked two cities (A and H bombs) just to try it after I won my first game.
The missile and bomber animations work, but no mushroom cloud.
Disappointing.

maybe you used a corean bomb?

Same problem here too, every time when I try to drop an bomb on an city there is no animation, however when I drop it on an less crowed place such an open ocean there is animation.

Could be some sort of rendering issue then. Damn that sucks.

I've rebooted my computer and restarted the game, loaded the save and the bug is gone (for now?)...

Its not that. I have fast combat and movement enabled but i can see the nukes shrooms fine.

Sorry to necro this thread but this is still an issue for me.

I can't see the nuke at all.
Zooming in or out doesn't do anything, changing the settings doesn't work either.
Quick combat/movement... I tried it all but no nuke animation :(

This is really bumming me out and even prevents me from playing the game.

Civ 5 had the same issue, but i could still see it when zoomed in.

Well I feel you, but I never had the problem arise any more since then...
