It's still not fixed??? 2K sucks!

I tried the two "huge Earth" we got in the last update to see if 2K somehow didn't mixed up the effects of the maps but nope, the "True Start Location Huge Earth" map is a lie...

By the way, I think all of our civs are appearing on the right "true start location" but ONLY as it was on the original "True Start Location" map (the one blocked on the standard size).

I am having the EXACT same problem. No Civs are starting true. They are all in random locations. Played as Egypt Started in China, Played as Japan Started in Korea (was the closest one to date), Played Babylon started in Central America. Played as Carthage started in Scandinavia. Played as Rome Started in central Africa. Last game played as America, Started in Central Asia. Come on Firaxis! When the MOD for True Start Location Huge Earth works better then your official content map you have failed hard!

Does not work for me either. I played as Zulus and spawned in Russia.

Worked for me just fine some time ago, although imo this map isn't really worth the trouble, you'll just have a clusterf*** of civs and city states in europe to the point it's sometimes impossible to settle, while the rest of the world is empty, unless you handpick all the civs, not sure you can do it with city states though. It also lacks the floodplains and coastal lowplains

I have played 12 games on this map, each a different civ. always spawned in the right location, with everyone else in their proper locations. (half on stnd. and half on epic)

There are two Huge Earth maps. One is true start, the other isn't. It could also be that a mod is interfering.

If neither of these is the problem, then it's a bug and should be reported.

Any word on which mods?

No... the post I read didn't say. Try disabling them all just as a test, and if it works, process of elimination?

I have the same problem but it's not random, like there are specific spots their spawning at and they look to be around the right spots where it should be, but the wrong civilization is there, like Ethiopia spawned where China should spawn. I don't know what happend but it's really annoying.
