Korea's Seowon
It appears the Seowon district granting bonuses to mines (+1 science) and farm (+1 food) surrounding them randomly work or does not work. In the same game, I have a Seowon in a city granting the bonus to a mine of diamond and iron and another one in another city not granting the bonus to a gypsum mine on desert hills. In another city yet, one Seowon does not grant food bonus to nearby farms.
Finally, I built a government center district next to a Seowon and that did not change the adjacency bonus.

Are they working reliably in your experience?

Gypsum is not mined, it's quarried.

+1 adjacency for Plaza and -1 science for adjacent district ought to result in no change, AFAICT.

Gypsum, Marble, and Stone are not improved with Mines, they are improved with Quarries.

Can you post a screenshot with the farms not getting +1 food from seowons? Maybe we can figure out the cause.

I recall bugs with districts losing some of their properties when they are pillaged and even repaired, I also recall it was fixed, but maybe only for specific instances and not for all districts.

Thanks guys for quick feedback. Clear! It seems the issue is me and being new to the game. Appreciate the inputs, i'll see to screenshot the farm later.

Might the farm be a plantation instead? because plantations dont get farm bonuses.

i think seowon "gains no adjacency bonus from anything". it's just 4, unless you make it less by adjacent districts. i think seowon does not gain +1 adjacency for plaza, so it is just the unique district's penalty -1.

Seowons definitely get the adjacency bonus from the government plaza, but since government plaza counts as a district, the bonus cancels out.

Yep it's a bit backward but okay. The farm is working also, I am just not well versed with the game mechanics yet. Thanks.
