Are Your Civ6 Games Crashing?

I don't think there is a way to post a poll and keep running totals in this forum, sooooo

Please, a simple Yes or No would suffice here. I realize not much will be able to determined from this thread as many players whose games crash likely gave up and left Civ 6 and are not reading this forum. Likewise, those who have been able to play without any crashes might not bother to respond. Still, it might be interesting to get some idea of what is going on with games going to the end or those crashing.

Anyway, feel free to add to your response, but a simple Yes or No would be fine.

Not sure if this thread is worthy of a sticky, but it might clean up some of the many one-of threads started by members here with same-old replies, if any.

Yes, since the update my games crash after a while. Can reload and keep playing with autosave on 1 round though.

Well, I can't use Mods if the Portugal Pack is activated, meaning I can't even start a single-player game with any kind of subscribed Mod.

NO. I know U said no exp BUT I used to have everything U can think of couldn't even couldn't use DX 12. BUT my wife gave me (yep my wife) a bunch of money 5 mo's ago and I never have had ANY repeat ANY problems again. New PC has a bizillion core processor, ram sticking out the sides of the case and a video card so big it blocks out the sun. Maybe this will help.(or not). And if U want to blast me have at it. I'm sure it'll be nothing new(or could be) Maybe if I say sorry now it'll help(or not) That's life.

Never played multiplayer.

Not from now but since the update before his one, I get one CTD per game at some random turn, but I load the last autosave from that game and it never does that again.

i've had 2 memorable "crashes" since new frontier pass began, and both times, loading from autosave worked. i very rarely play with workshop mods, tho.

Last crash I came across was a now-fixed problem in Gifts of the Nile a few patches ago. I’ve only got the mod YnAMP subbed and active.

yeh, one big factor is that tens of thousands of people playing any given time aren't spending much time here reading these steam forum threads -until they have a problem-, so you have a massive sample completely missing for no participation.

i know it seems sometimes "so many people" have issues, but here, we're standing in complaint central, and the loudest couple hundred set the precedent, especially when there's confirmation bias. further, one shouting over another, or conflating symptoms, makes it very difficult to reliably omit user error. some people may have a genuine issue with some software compatibility oversight, but that doesn't mean every person who comes here has the same problem in the same location and even when the issue appears the same sometimes solutions are different. some people can be helped with very easy fixes, some can't, it seems.

Yes. It comes late late game, with no time limit. I usually attribute it to, too many units.

Ive completed two games since the patch (single player). No crashes. only 3 ui mods.

Your game working has nothing to do with others game not working.

Its literally the point of this thread. Asking if people crashed or not. No where in what I said did I deny other people crashing. I merely reported my own experience.
