Is 2K greedy?
If not, why they removed Civ 6 and all their games form GeForce NOW?
Will they block my copy if I borrow laptop from my friend or neighbour to play their games?

Complain to the people who failed to secure rights before trying to use someone else’s work for their profit .... you’re focusing on the wrong actor, here.

So what does Nvidia have to do with 2k????

Why? How using GFN is different from playing on borrowed laptop?

I am not even sure what you are saying here.

The paper trail is most likely the actionable difference.

I found this article good to explain.

https://www.pcgamer.com/the-controversy-over-geforce-now-explained/

It's not exactly a cloud computer you rent. An question I got after reading that article, can you use mods for Steam games on Geforce Now?

We should all block 2K
I will not buy a single game more from 2K, after they removed their games from GeForce Now. I have bought and paid many 2K games. My way to play, because I have Mac, have been GeForce Now. It is a good alternative for expensive graphic cards too. But now 2K want money from GeForce to let us pay what we paid. What is next? We need to pay again when we buy a new computer, with another kind of graphic cards?

This is so greedy from 2K, I will not pay for anything for them in the future, if they will not be more reasonable in the future.

Do it. But most of us won't.

https://steamcharts.com/app/289070

+ 40 000 people.

All platforms ask for a cut. Nvidia is no different from Steam which is no different from other platforms. Should we block Steam/Epic and everything as well?

You are mixing the reality. For example I have been playing Civilization to use Steam and Geforce now together. When I use GeForce Now, I use Steam every time.

Steam and GeForce now is the perfect match.

Why? I have no interest in streaming games. The problem is the game makers are not getting a cut and you were only have a license to run the game on hardware you own, so game companies want some of that cash you are paying to nvidia to use their hardware

Bro, I don't even know what you're complaining about. Care to explain the issue so I can understand why you want us to boycott the half-baked product we're all addicted to?

Why should the game makers have one more cut, when we get the possibility to play the game? We buy the game. What kind of graphic card you use have no sense. And not everyone have money for expensive graphic cards, and then solutions like Geforce now is perfect. This is greedy.
You maybe have a good enough computer, but not everyone have. It is not possible at all to play the game with Geforce now, if we have not paid for the game, for example at Steam.

Well yeah, if you dont pay for a game, you nornally dont get to play it. Maybe if you explain what the actual issue is we could say something more helpful

We should all change our purchasing patterns because you don’t want to buy your own hardware?
