Soothsayer + Great Bath => how to use?
So I saw this strategy that uses Soothsayers with the Great Bath wonder to increase the faith yield of flood plains tiles... but how do I use this effectively?

Causing floods destroys improvements and make me lose population on that city, should I wait until I get the Dam district or that makes the faith gains not worth it?

Great Bath is literally a dam. However, do note that the protection from river flooding only works for the river it is built on and the faith bonus is added to each river separately. For example, the river the Bath was built on may have flooded 5 times since (thus gaining 5 faith per turn per floodplains tile attached to that river), but if that city has another floodable river within its borders that has only flooded twice, those floodplains will only gain 2 faith per turn.

Finally, make note that soothsayers generate CO2 now so using them too many times may bring out the apocalypse sooner than you would like.

I'm not sure the city I tried this had 2 rivers or not, but I felt that the faith per turn wasn't increasing as it should, maybe that was why. I do know the Great Bath apparently only affect tiles owned by the city it's built in, so if the same river has tiles owned by another city they woudln't benefit (haven't tested though)

You need to use the Soothsayer on the flood plains that are protected by the great bath.
