Did you ever find an answer?
That is actually click on the pin itself, not the name in the list. A delete option pops up.
So yes, we do need to toggle them on/off.
Would that not defeat the purpose of pins tho? I mean they are meant to be there to STAND OUT at you so you don't do an "oopsie" later on.
If they are not meant to be seen to warn you, why even use them?
I'm not continuing this conversation if it's just going to be explaining why we would need to hide pins.

"Map Pinning system enhanced: new pins, long pinlists are now scrollable, right click in pinlist to quickly delete pins, enter key now bound to finalizing a pin in pin creation menu."
Seems to improve pins and UI in general but no mention of hiding or toggling.
The pins are SO useful as planning tools, but having every tile perpetually covered in pins (until you finally get to build something on the tile) is pretty terrible.
Seriously weird how they made labels for deserts, rivers, etc togglable but still nothing WRT pins.
***Note necros don't bother me, I think it's fine to continue a previous discussion of something rather than making a new, because it gives background.***
