How can i skip ``city projects``
Is it possible to skip city projects after every turn?I mean i got a lot of cities with full upgrades and it forces me to choose more every turn which is a bit annoying considering the fact that im done with those.Ive looked a lot at the menu and etc but couldt find it.

So choose a project? Not sure I understand. When I don't want a city to build anything I select a project I've unlocked for something I would need like faith or gold.

I think I understand where Jafar is coming from. If you start taking over lots of cities, you don't want to deal with them. So an option where you can select produce x and just forget about that would be grand. Or they could bring back the good old puppet cities from civ 5.

There should be a small toggle next to every project that makes it so the project is restarted upon completion automatically. Once you unlock uranium and nukes, you want to constantly make nukes.

Good info

I do miss the old Gold or Science options :P but at that stage of the game your doing over and over future tech which would be nice t be able to disable.. not sure you gain after the first pass at it. I played 1500 turns and must have done future tech 50 times or more.. i lost track

It doesn't exist. I'm saying the button should exist.

If you are refering to the projects at the bottom of the build menu, those are ways of turning production into somethingelse such as research, culture, money, etc. if you have the right tech.

Your correct but they require repeated selection by the user.

Not so much tech, you need to have the corresponding district in that city.

Yeah, this is just another crappy design choice that, I would guess, is supposed to be "interactive". But when you have 10+ cities which builds projects, and you have to reselect the project every 4-6 turns, while also dealing with spies and trade routes....... I don't know what a dev thought on that, but I'd guess there's some mental disturbance involved, because it sure as hell ain't fun.

Time eater for sure after about 1200 turns it was a huge grind
First game was a Huge Map on Marathon with about 13 or so trade routes, half a dozen spies, no more tech or civic paths, and around 27 cities

How that could get past a beta testing stage without having any kind of automation implemented boggles the mind, for sure.

I'm tempted to say that they were too focused on automatic matches between AI. The reason for me thinking that, is from watching the big AI battle they had near launch and listening to them talk...

That will find bugs and balance issues to some extent, but nothing related to UI and actual player experience.

They had "Beta Testers" in the credits....lol
Perhaps that said Bagel Toasters and I misread it..

Can you not queue up production items, including projects, with the shift key?
Edit: Nope can't queue projects.
Edit Edit: Can't queue anything. Bummer.
