Is there a way to increase font or UI size at 1080p?
On my monitor the font size looks fine, but if I play from my Television in the other room (with the steam link and controller) it is ineligible unless I walk up to the screen.

Some earlier posts from 2016 have posted a link to a website (dropbox.com) with how to increase it by modifying the text files, but when i click them they are dead links now so any help would be welcome.

Or, you know, you use the option in the options to enlarge the UI to 150%.

That was of great help (what was looking for myself). I could fine-tune the font size for various elements of the UI according to my preferences, and now the life itself seems a lot brighter.

I'm still looking for the file and the lines resulted from another genius idea, to use dark red fonts on dark blue background and make the 'choose production' right panel so infuriating (buy with gold and buy with faith tabs, when the buttons are disabled). Did anyone find them?

Edit:
I think these are the tabs I am talking about (CityPanel.xml):

<CheckBox ID="ProduceWithGoldCheck" Size="44,53" ButtonTexture="UnitPanel_ActionButton" ButtonSize="44,53" CheckTexture="CityPanel_ActionGoldProduction" CheckTextureOffset="0,32" CheckSize="32,32" CheckOffset="5,8" UnCheckTexture="CityPanel_ActionGoldProduction" UnCheckSize="32,32" UnCheckOffset="5,8" UseSelectedTextures="1" ToolTip="LOC_HUD_CITY_PURCHASE_WITH_GOLD" />

<CheckBox ID="ProduceWithFaithCheck" Size="44,53" ButtonTexture="UnitPanel_ActionButton" ButtonSize="44,53" CheckTexture="CityPanel_ActionFaithProduction" CheckTextureOffset="0,32" CheckSize="32,32" CheckOffset="5,8" UnCheckTexture="CityPanel_ActionFaithProduction" UnCheckSize="32,32" UnCheckOffset="5,8" UseSelectedTextures="1" ToolTip="LOC_HUD_CITY_PURCHASE_WITH_FAITH" />

Unfortunately 1080p seems to be one of the locked resolutions, I think UI scale is for higher resolutions than that. I have however set the resolution to 1600x900 and that does help a bit. But i might try the original links instruction too at some point.

At what resolution does that become available? I've tried the max resolution my card allows 3200x1600, it is on 100% but says not available at my resolution.

I have it available on 1920x1200 (as shown), but can also enable it on 1920x1080. I haven't tried other resolutions. I actually thought it's there for all resolutions...

Just checked on my laptop, which is 1920x1080, but has only the Intel 630 graphics chip. I don't have it there.
hmm... there might be more to it then just resolution. Now I'm not so sure what enables this.

I'm not able to charge the UI, I'm running at 1920 x 1080. There's probably more then just resolution.

When running with DirectX 12 even the resolution dropdown is disabled, when I run in DirectX 11 all these video fields are unlocked.

When the resolution drop down is locked, it means you are running in full screen.
Change that to borderless window or windowed and you can change the resolution.

Thank!
But what fonts are for civopedia? (I want to increase font only there).
It is the main stain on the eyes.
I'm running this game for the first time now. I'm running it at 1920x1080. I can't make the tutorial UI any larger. I've tried multiple things mentioned in this post. I've run the game in both DX11 and DX12. I've run the game fullscreen, borderless and the other option. The place to increase the UI is always unavailable to me. I'd like to play this game, but I'm going to need to play the tutorial 1st since I've never played a Civ game. I've also tried using other resolutions like the 1280. Nothing has worked. I have a half hour in the game now and it's fully been trying to get the UI larger. Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
