I now believe that it's a very convoluted way of saying that entertainment sectors get +2 gold and culture from being adjacent to an archaeological site. That's the only place I've seen any evidence of a bonus. It is just a hopelessly bad piece of help text. I'm surprised nobody seems to have commented on it before.
"matching resource class" is another thing that doesn't exist in the game. What exists is the minor adjacency bonus, like the +1 you get from every two adjacent districts. The Holy Site gets +1 for every two adjacent woods, the campus get +1 for every two adjacent rainforest, the industrial zone gets +1 for every two adjacent mines or every two adjacent lumber mills and every district that has adjacency get +1 for every two districts. They aren't describes as "matching resource class" anywhere in the game. The word "adjacent" or "adjacency" is always used to describe those.
You might be talking about a specific Civ ability, but I can't imagine any Civ ability that fits the description. Maybe a wonder, but I also can't think of one. Be sure what you're dealing with isn't something added by a mod and take a screenshot of this pop-up, so we can identify what exactly you're talking about.
Edit: Maybe you're talking about theming bonus?

If you're talking about theming bonus, in Archaeological Museums, you want to have artifacts from different Civilizations, but the same era. In Art Museums, you want to have the same type of Great Work (Religious, portrait, landscape and so on), but from different artists.
Looks like the mod I loaded to allow Archaeological sites to be built over put in an incentive not to eradicate them all. Sorry about that!
