Gathering Storm and Rise and Fall DLC Missing

SO, since the update and new interface, my DLC (mentioned above) has gone missing despite Steam confirming both are purchased and installed my PC. Rule set is Standard only. I use Directx 11 and it starts up with no issue, except the missing DLC. Any one else having this issue? and a solution

I have all DLCs and mods missing in the Additional Content section of the main menu. The mods are gone inside the game too.

I had lots of issue fighting w this game getting it to do basic stuff.
Make sure Windows defender has the game folders excluded from blocking them.

go to windows security, Virus & threat protection, then scroll down to Ransomware protection and turn that crap off, problem solved

Yep - i have this exact problem too.

gmosco - i've disabled my MS ransomware and it's still playing up. I uninstalled the game and now can't even reinstall it.

Absolutely same problem for me. It comes and goes. Sometimes I have no DLC, sometimes all. Lately its all but the latest DLC. Verified files, did all the security things. It's sooo frustrating.

Problem solved :). It was Bitdefender, in the end. Created a safe rule and it's all good now. Thank you, all.

I have Bitdefender as well, and had to create a rule a while back to fix non-saving settings, so I will take another look! thanks for the suggestion.

That is better advice then disabling windoz defender. Bit defender does that all the time with exe.
