Fortify vs. Alert
Does Fortify give any added benefit besides not waking the unit up upon other player activity nearby?

Pretty sure it adds to there defense value if there attacked. Not absolutely sure though.

Does not add to there attack value however if they infact are the ones initiating an attack.

Right! Been wondering this for a while. Is there added defense & loyalty while using Fortify over Alert?

Alert fortifies the unit. The purpose of using fortify is if you don't want to be bothered by the unit waking up, such as if you're in a battle where they'd wake up from alert due to the enemies nearby.
