Legion without Iron ?
I am just curious if this is a "bug" or if this is really supposed to be like that .

Playing the romans i noticed that you can produce the military unit Legion ( which replaces the swordman) without having any iron.
I also noticed that you can produce Knights without having any horses ( as any civilization ).

Seems very unrealistic to me.
How do you guys feel about it ?

unique units dont require resources

Its not bug: unique units never require strategic ressources.

That's because in Civ6 strategic ressources are way more scarce than in Civ5, and a bad starting location could completely cut you off from your unique unit. It's a matter of game balance.
Too be fair, in Civ 5 you would need Iron in order to make Legions but I haven't found Civ 6 with the Legions not using iron yet, I'll need to go there to make sure.
