Civ 6 on steam and epic games

So i have civ 6 on steam because that is where i bought it when it was released and where i have all my DLC's and extra civ's but I can't really play well with my friends on epic games so i downloaded the game on epic to play with them. I did not try to use another civilization but i wondered if it is possible to have my DLC working on both steam and epic games?

No, it is no possible to move dlc from one platform to another. You will need to buy them again, which you probably don't want to do.
I think there is crossplay supposedly between the platforms, someone else will have to fill you in on that.

I was thinking guys, when i started a world with my friends on epic games i began at steam but got desynced after a while so i joined on epic i could take over my previous leader. What if and hear me out that i start on steam with one of my DLC civs and then transfer to epic and take over that civ?

The Epic-linked license isn’t associated with the DLC, presumably, so you probably cannot continue a save made with the content from your Steam license.
