I keep getting a versions don't match error the last couple days which has been preventing me from playing online. Are you on mac by chance?

Mac hasn't been updated yet...
Firaxis said they are beta testing the new version and hope for it to go live, next couple of days.

Its problably because of the new patch released to allowing players to connect between steam and epic games store. It came with a lot of bugs for old steam players :(
