🔺Cant play with friend because version mismatch

My friend just got his copy in Epic store and his game version is higher than mine, because of this we cant play together. No new Steam updates are coming. Fix this asap!!!

His version: 1.0.1.501 (504666)
My version: 1.0.0.341 (176806)

I ve got MAC and my friend got PC (and Epic does not have a Mac OS version)

Yea this is frustrating it's been one thing or another when trying to get a family member with a Mac on/ I finally took their PC to see what is going on and found this Version issue :/ any word on timeline to fix ?

Can they just release the PC versions slower? Multiplayer is a big part of the game. More so that OP barbarians.

On my Gentoo Linux i had to change the version info at this filepath, works as well also for me :)

Aspyr will not be updating any version of Civ6 until the last of the most recent leader pass is finished. This was announced a while back. Until that happens, you will not be able to play multi outside of other Mac users.
