🔺Cant play with friend because version mismatch
My friend just got his copy in Epic store and his game version is higher than mine, because of this we cant play together. No new Steam updates are coming. Fix this asap!!!

His version: 1.0.1.501 (504666)
My version: 1.0.0.341 (176806)

I ve got MAC and my friend got PC (and Epic does not have a Mac OS version)

I have the steam version and it says 1.0.1.501, for some reason you did not get the latest update from steam

I downloaded 800MB uptade yesterday.And launcher changed.Do you using old launcher or is it changed?

I'm in the same boat - I just downloaded the new pass - and it didn't work on the Mac version - and game is OOS with other versions too, now can't play my brother either!

Oh I see, yes sadly Firaxis is always behind on their updates for Mac.

In the past it has been weeks to sometimes months, you should ask about it on the 2K forums as a dev might respond there

Same here. Didn’t get the latest update for my Mac version game as well. I’m afraid they just release this new cross-platform feature for epic users in rush. This really sucks and we should ask aspyr if they will compensate us for this sh*t.

Similar Version Issue here.

I have a Steam PC version 1.0.1.501 and my 2 friends are on Mac Steam version 1.2 something...

We've had no problems the last few weeks - until today.

There is a solution for Steam to use Legacy version.

You need to go to Betas in properties, enter code ineedlegacyaccess and then select Legacy version and it will install it on PC/MAC and you will be able to play together, however the version is so old that it might have different bugs that were fixed in newer versions.

Did not know that, sorry for misleading information.

I dont think there is a way to install desired patch asides from downloading pirated versions...

Thats sad :( anyway thank u <3 guess i will need to wait till Aspyr and Firaxis wanna do their job...
