I have a Steam PC version 1.0.1.501 and my 2 friends are on Mac Steam version 1.2 something...
We've had no problems the last few weeks - until today.
There is a solution for Steam to use Legacy version.
You need to go to Betas in properties, enter code ineedlegacyaccess and then select Legacy version and it will install it on PC/MAC and you will be able to play together, however the version is so old that it might have different bugs that were fixed in newer versions.
I tried this and didn't work. :/ me with a MAC and my friends with windows got a different legacy version... is there any way to fix that? or any other solution for them to download previous patches?
Did not know that, sorry for misleading information.
I dont think there is a way to install desired patch asides from downloading pirated versions...
Thats sad :( anyway thank u <3 guess i will need to wait till Aspyr and Firaxis wanna do their job...
