City title bar is missing

my game is starting here but some functions are off. The City info/title bar are missing for all cities and its quite ignoring. hope you can fix it asap for not only this but others' problem.

I have a feeling you're in the middle of a save so I would recommend starting a new one for the time being. The game was literally unplayable for me and that fixed everything. Also removing mods mid game doesn't seem to do anything either.

@nolanslchen thesame here. i disabled all mod, and started new game. then i reloaded my old savegame. citynames are back

My Game is same thing.
City title bar was missing & Golden Age Focus Strategy Button didn't work.
Game Music & UI Sound didn't work.
I think today's new update is working wrong.

If any of you are using my City Original Owner Info mod, then the May 2020 Update will lead to a disappearing city banner.

This is because the update changed the Gathering Storm expansion's CityBannerManager.lua file.

Anyway, I've updated the mod now to be compatible with the new game update, so it should be working again.

I'm getting this when starting a game. I've now gone through and disabled all mods and still having the issue. It's not just the city bar and the golden age. My diplomacy also only goes to a summary of my civilization. I can't even talk to other leaders

Unsubscribe and subscribe again mod: "City Original Owner Info" city bar will back. The only question is why updating the workshop alone was not enough?

Except that I don't have that mod. At all. And if you'll read the comment I was actually having it at one point when I had NO mod enabled.

I did restart the game completely with no mods and added a couple in. I do know that AI Wonder Progress is also guilty of causing this. And I wouldn't be surprised if there are others as well.

I'm having the same problem as far as missing city info bar/banner and I've unsubscribed, restarted game and pc, verified game files, subscribed, unsubscribed, subscribed again, disabled all mods, troubleshot all mods by enabling/disabling them 1 by 1 and loading cities each time. About to system restore back to last week just for a shot in the dark.
Nothing works otherwise.
Only solution that works so far is disabling all mods.
Maybe the update didn't break the game entirely but it might as well have

Yeah, this update is not playing nice with a lot of mods. I think I've got 3 that are working and none of the rest of mine. Anything that seems to affect the UI in any way at all seems to create the bug, and many that have nothing to do with the UI.

I'm sure it'll be something that gets fixed in a patch in the near future.
