Unified PC Play?

It says you can play with other players on other platforms. Does that mean I can play with my friend from my PC & him on his Xbox One? I didn't see anything about this in the patch notes and it is my 1st time seeing this.

well the bugs across platorms are kind of making the game unplayable, I have to wait but now I am super curious

Where does it say that? I cant seem to find it anywhere.

IMHO it's only for PC to be able to play with players from platforms outside of Steam. Civ6 has been steam-only for now, but there have been rumours that it's coming as a free game to Epic Games Store. It would suck if people using EGS version could not play with Steam players.

I don't think so. If it would, they would advertise it heavily and all gaming media would be buzzing about it.

Unified PC. I think it means players from steam and epic store (where the game is free atm) can play together.
