With the latest patch, instances where two units get stuck on top of one another are very rare. If it does happen, then you can probably load an autosave and replay the turn in a way that does not result in having the two units stuck stacked. I recommend turning on autosaves, with a save each turn, just in case something like this happens - that way you can back up instead of having to quit.
I find that sometimes zooming closer will make it easier to access the button. There is still room for improvement in this aspect of the UI.
You can. There's a stickied thread in this forum about troubleshooting that gives the details of how to do that.
thank you for the response.
too bad that I have to rely on a fellow customer for product specific information.
paid nearly $200 for all of this Civ 6 and C.S. should be.
however, the future is to provide less.
I know that each piece has its own movement amounts.
however, after -say- I move a piece one space, and then the "header" says the piece still has one movement, yet often the piece isn't not actually able too move one space.
i don't use autosave, however, I will look into it.
Do you know how to get a super large Earth Civ map with a more players ?
thank you
I have noticed improvements with underlying game design, with each subsequent "add-on".
for eg.: before i couldn't zoom in and out, and now
I am able.
with the cost - Civ should do software updates every blue moon, to fine tune system
however, civ 6 was having that prob
even I have various questions within the game regarding rules and things of that sort, however there is no info. book or Civ contact person.
but, yes, obviously I am primarily satisfied with Civ.
No, it wasn't. You may have been having an issue, but the game had a zoom function.
Sorry, but players have relied on each other for game info since the dawn of gaming. No manual or help line has ever been comprehensive. As for your issues though, there's plenty of game information ingame. Between the tutorial, advisers, tooltips, and the ingame civopedia, this game has pretty extensive documentation, more than most I've played.
The easiest fix for this I've found is to save and reload the game. On reload the same rule is checked and the game automoves one unit to a free tile.
However.. sometimes civ also just crashes on attempting to load the save.
thanks, again, for your responses.
I am not much of a gamer.
I notice, now, with gathering storm - there is an 'online' mode. ?Do I need to stay engaged in the game (not save and come back later) in-order to be player other real persons online?
I saved the game, and went back into it. however the prob. was still there, not certain what "reload" is.
