When will this game and exp go on sales?

I have been super into Civ6 for awhile now and hoping to get this game once it is on sales. Is there any info of the time of the next sale?

The last sale vanilla was at historical low of 75 percent discount. It should happen again. Patience is virtue. DLC did not get any discounts yet. Next possible event discount could be the release of next dlc 14.02 or next steam sale

is playing the just the base game fun without the first dlc? I have been watching lets play on youtube and super into civ 6 right now but all of them play with the expansion

Pretty sure there will be some reduction in price during the Christmas Sale (unsure of date). It's another way for them to get everyone into the game and lined up to buy the next DLC. If you are however hoping to get CIV 6 with all the extras you may be only slightly rewarded for your wait. As mentioned ablve other places like GreenMan and such offer better pricing often times but you had mentioned an issue with currency and such..soo.. Whatever you do dont wait for the up comming DLC as it will probably run like a 3 legged dog upon release as does everything else these days. Good luck
