Swtich Version vs. PC - Looking for more info.

Sorry to bother you folks. I was looking to purchase this game on the Nintendo Switch as I definitely would be more inclined to play it on it vs. my PC which is bogged down with Stellaris for my go-to grand strategy/4X gaming needs.

I was wondering what differences there are between the console, PC and apple versions? Does the Switch version have access to DLC? Is it inferior in anyway other than fidelity?

The timing of Civ 6's release on the Switch was horrible being slotted with Pokemon/Warframe releases, reviews/information for Civ 6 are scare so I have no idea if it's worth 60 for my needs or not on the Switch.

Worse case, I'll buy it for PC but like I said, mileage wise, probably won't get a whole lot where if I had it on the Switch and with it being the only grand strategy game I have access to currently, will be played alot more often. I'd like to own/play all the DLC though too, so am concerned whether or not that is possible on the Nintendo..

The Switch version does not have Rise and Fall yet or access to mods. But other than that I think it's the same.

If you play Paradox's games, why would you want to play Civ?

Awesome, I wasn't sure because of the obvious limitations of the Switch if DLC was to be available for it or not. As for mods I rarely use them on PC so that's not a big deal for me but good to know :D Curious though, so all current DLC besides Rise and Fall is already included? Is there some way for us to look to see if they plan on adding Rise and Fall and any others to it later or was it confirmed what we have for Switch now is final? Thanks for your time tonight, appreciate it.

As I said, for Switch, Civ 6 is really the only grand strategy/4x game I have access to on that platform, so would much rather buy it on it because it would be played much more than on PC because when I feel like strategy, yeah Stellaris is my game. xD I still may do Civ 6 on PC just to try it with mods/future xpac's if Switch doesn't get support.

Four DLC are included in the Switch version (the Viking, Poland, Australia, and Persia and Macedon packs). There are two other DLC (Nubia, Indonesia, and Khmer) that are available for purchase on the switch.

They have confirmed that Rise and Fall will eventually be released for the iphone version so I bet the switch will also get it.
