Can you turn off the era score in civ 6?

I enjoy the game but the one aspect that kills this game for me every time i play it is the Era score. Is there any way to turn it off so i can just enjoy the game and play it how i want without constantly trying to gain points for the entire match? was hoping by now that there would be an in game option to turn it off.

No, but there's probably a mod that does that.

Tip: Just stop to constantly try gaining points, you don't really need to do that. It's quite easy to get a golden age streak without worrying about era points, you gonna get them without trying. Just keep en eye on the timer. If the minimal number of turns for the era to end is getting near 10 and you still didn't guarantee a golden, then you give era points some thoughts. Most of the time you don't need to worry about it. Embrace dark ages as a good thing, considering that it has powerful policies and lead to an heroic age.

Not exclusively but you can set the rules to original Civ6 when creating a game which removes all the features of the expansion pack. I have actually one this as I prefer the original. Can't bring myself to pay for Gathering Storm.

Just disable both GS and R'n'F.

I'm also looking for mods which remove era score. I don't want to play for golden era vs dark era. I just want every era to be a normal era. And not worry about points. Anything available for that?

If you don't want era score, just go back to Civ5
