Dark age makes screen dark?

Why the ♥♥♥♥ would they add this feature... I can't see ♥♥♥♥ when im in a dark age

From what I've played of this expansion, it isn't debilitating, as it only changes the color saturation. You may want to turn off the day/night cycle and set the game time to somewhere before noon. You'll maximize brightness that way.

Also, don't forget to turn up the brightness in the game settings.

Yeah I did all of that but seriously this is a really dumb thing to implement. Now it's too bright during non dark ages... Like why

When I went into a dark age, I didn't notice the screen getting darker at all....I must be abnormal.

I really don't like this dark screen. I just went from a golden age into a dark information age. I have no turn limit on my game. If I have to play the rest of it all dark like this I'm going to be pretty disappointed. I thought the dark screen was a neat feature the first time it happend but it gets super annoying after awhile. I hope they add an option to turn it off.

If you can't see, fix your brightness and/or gamma. It's not that dark...

If you turn up the brightness then during non dark ages the screen hurts your eyes... This feature is dumb and we need at least the option to turn it off.

You're grossly exagerrating one way or the other. The difference between both extremes isn't that much at all. Much less the difference from the "middle".

The golden age is really bright and colorful though. I like it the way they set it up.
