Rise and fall DLC not showing up even after restarting steam

I can't get it to download. It shows that I owen it but it dosn't show up in my list of DLC's. I have restarted steam several times. The steam store says that I should have it and that is unlocked but it won't download. I will try switching steam severs. Maybe the Denver sever is glitched?

1) restart steam
2) ensure the dlc is checked off in your library view
3) reverify game data

I can install, but every time I start a game, it crushed

Same here. Every time i start loading a new game it crashes.

For me it doesn't completely crash, but when I get to the "loading" screen after making my game session selections I end up back at the original screen

So I went into my mods settings to see if disabling and re-enabling the DLC will work, it didn't so I went into the community mods and deleted a couple.

Turns out that the DLC isn't compatible with some mods, mess around with that and you might be able to play the game!

I have the same problem. I registered the expansion with my key from GMG, and the product page says "Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI: Rise and Fall is already in your Steam library" (it's also marked "In Library" on the main Civ VI page).

However, if I go the the library page for Civ VI, the DLC list does not contain "Rise and Fall", and I can't get the game to download the expansion. Restarting Steam, or even the computer, does not change anything, nor does reverifying the game files.

Oh, wait, this is only available for Windows. That's ... unfortunate.

It just takes a while to download. Chekc your 'manage downloads' screen.

If You list the DLC's, it list all the DLC's and the ones you own have a banner that says in steam library. Only this DLC is not showing in my liabrary. If you click on the game then it shows the list of DLC's that you have with a check box but this one is not listed. I just noticed in this thread that Zaister, says it's only avalible for windows. Probably mismarked since it's a DLC. They need to fix this and apoligize for the error. I don't know of any reason why any DLC should not work with all three OSes. They probably goofed on the OS tagging or whatever the term for it is for marking as to which OS a game runs on. I'm going to bednow and will expect to see a message from the devs here in the morning. This is not going to make Mac or us Linux gamers happy.

Chil out dude. Lets wait and see what the devs do about this. I am betting it's just an over site and the devs will say Oops and then they will fix it.
