Also check the Apple Store for which devices are compatible.
I have an Ipad mini 2 and the app store says it is compatible but it crashes so much, so it kind of makes me mad that I pay 30$ for a game (and if I'm correct that was cause it was half off for a bit after launch, and then went up to a whopping 60$) that says it will work and then it barely manages to run at all. Also a lot of features from the PC version are absent, such as certain religious beliefs adding in an update that expanded religion a medium amount.
You could do it, but as it stands playing on PC is a heck of a lot better. But if you really must have it on mobile instead go for it, your device is newer than mine anyways so I'd imagine yours will run decently, though still not without issues.
Also its kind of funny that in the options menu they have keybinds. But it does also make sense cause some veteran players may be used to using them and want to connect a blue tooth key board.
Again, PC is a lot better but on a device not older than say 2 years, it will be acceptable
