But I also miss a lot the city view from Civ 2. (as well as the throne room from Civ2 or the palace to build in Civ3)
Yeah it was useless but would trigger a sense of pride when you got the most beautiful stuff ^^
SMAC/X was my first civ game. It was in fact my first real PC games along with Nanosaur and Bugdom (that came with the Apple iBook). Childhood memories
Even better if Firaxis would make a fantasy spinoff, like Beyond Earth was a sci-fi one.
civ 2 test of time came out in 1999, it did infact exist and @Texdionis I'd like an expansion with both scenarios in true ToT fashion
