As far as Civ on GOG goes, 1 and 2 don't appear to be on there. 3 and 4 were only added after they'd been done for years. 5 and 6 are Steamworks games and do not exist in DRM-free form.
I'm sure you are right in that is what OP meant. However, I doubt Firaxis has any choice in the matter, that is likely a decision made by their corporate overlords, 2K, or above that Take2.
But, as far as I know they never sell new release AAA titles, or games that cannot be stripped of copy protection. I agree they deserve support! But it's not the place to shop for new games, or games like Civ6 with DRM, "baked in."
I doubt it will change anytime soon, if ever. I hope they do well.
Yeah, if fact you are right. Main thing is no DRM. The witcher games are to be applauded for the devs trusting customers. And, no DRM so it's on GOG too. I've seen Witcher 1 and two there. I guess they have 3 too, but not checked as I already have it (through Steam.)
Heh Heh, funny. That explains all the sales then. Never knew that until now. Not sure why, but it gave me a good laugh to read your post. Cheers.
