Playing Civ 6 on youtube
Hey everyone, how do people record Civ games and put them on youtube?

I have tried recording a clip using the game/picture taker (the thing that you press control & G) at the same time..... but it doesnt record my voice?

I would like to post a couple of games on Youtube, can anyone give me some pointers please?

There are several programs out there for recording and/or streaming gameplay. Bandicam is good, but costs money. OBS is tops for free software. I'd strongly advice searching for tutorial videos on how to set up whichever you end up using. You don't have to be a tech genius to do it, but it can be confusing for a newbie.

I use Razer Cortex for recording as it acts as a game booster at the same time. It'll typically free up around 3-400 Mb of RAM for Civ VI, since it temporarily puts a lot of unnecessary tasks and apps running in the background on hold.
I find it does VERY well even on lower end PCs because of this.

Downside? It won't work for every game, but it will for most and seems to for Civ VI (for me, at least).
