[HELP] I place my second city over a luxury resource (jade), do I still get that luxury resource?
I have just started playing Civ 6 for a day, no prior experience with any previous Civ. When I place my second city over a luxury resource (jade), I notice that I get +1 culture from that tide, but when I check my city, I see that I only get 1 amenity from luxury resource which comes from TEA luxury resource from my first city? Please help me with this problem. Thank you in advance

maybe try opening a trade with another civ and see if the jade shows on your side?
You get the Resource once you have the correct tech to use it.

Thanks but i already got mining tech researched but the luxury resource is still not available
Did you build a plantation on the tea tile?

You should not settle on the luxurary anyway 95% of the time because it's a good tile to work for the city.

On islands maps though you may want to settle the resource cos land is scarce. (Where do you build your districts?)

I just tested this.
Founded my capital on top of spices, WITHOUT having researched plantation (obviously, since this was my first city) and I got it as if I had a spices plantation (amenities included).

Yes I have watched some YT guide and it was said the same thing as you. I still got the culture yield from the TEA but for some reason, it doesnt give me amenities when I check in my city summary. Also the TEA icon disapear as well, but when I hover my mouse over, in the toolip it still says TEA
