How do I delete a Play By Cloud game
Me and my friend started a play by cloud game a few weeks back, but it now crashes when either of us loads it.

We have since started a new one and it has worked fine, but that old game still sits in the My Games menu and keeps saying i have a turn on the main menu which always makes me think i have a new turn on my current game.

If i select the game and click on Join Game in the Play By Cloud - My Games menu it shows the lobby then loads the game before i can do anything and once loaded a few seconds later it brings up a Firaxis crash report submit box and the game crashes to desktop a few seconds after that.

Is there any way to actually delete that old game?

There is "Delete" and "Quit" buttons in the top left corner after you click on "Join Game", but the problem is that if it's your turn (which it was for me) it will auto load the game before you have a chance to look then crashes once it loads (it might be possible to click it fast enough if you know where to click immediately, but i found another way and have deleted it so I can't give it a try).

My solution was to have the windows network connections window open (along with Civ 6) with my network adaptor listed in it then click back to Civ 6 and select the game from the Play By Cloud - My Games window, click Join Game, then click back to the network connections window (i'm running in windowed) and right click on network adaptor and click on disable just as it joins the room and shows all players (staging area), it then wont load the game now, click on Delete in top left corner of page, say yes to 'are you sure' box (it will start saying it's deleting and will sit there), then go back and re-enable connection then wait 5-10 secs and it will finalise the deletion.

Can you overwrite it with a new game?

I think you are able to click the big checkmark with the counting down ring on it as well to mark that you're not ready. I believe it then stops the counting down and thus will not join the game until you mark yourself as ready again.

That should give you the time to delete the game.

It doesn't look like it gives me any countdown (it just says ready in the split second after it opens the staging area, before it starts loading the game up if it's my turn), only time it had a countdown was when i first made the game and it started counting and if i unchecked the ready next to my name back then it would still count but once it hit zero it wouldn't load the game but i think my leader, etc were locked.

I also tried quickly clicking on Delete when i was loading my game up today and it still loaded the game even with the 'are you sure' box up so i think the disconnecting network option is all that can be done at the moment that i know of.

Oh well hopefully they can solve that small issue in the future :)

I just checked, you're right. The countdown isn't in that screen. I just have plenty of time because of my high latency connection.

My problem extends the problem mentioned above. I cannot go to the screen that contains the "Delete" and "Quit" button because before that I strand in a "mods missing" error screen.

The problem started when I copied a saved game (saved at turn 1) with my son that had crashed, and tried to restart the copie for a second chance to play the same game. It did not work... he cannot join, it still is my turn and I cannot do anything because it goes directly to the "Mod missing screen". So it seems I never can go to a screen where I can delete this unplayable game.
