Every time I hear this quote, I cringe.
"Normal people ... believe that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet."
–Scott Adams

Dear developer, I'm an engineer, I've been one for around 40 years, it's we, the engineers, who thought normal people that if it ain't broken, don't fix it! When in someone holy's name did you start listening to a cartoonist as to what engineers say? :steamfacepalm:

I much prefer a different quote (but I forget which game it was in) to the effect that perfection (of a design or product or invention) is reached when there is nothing left to take away.

My favorite quote (not from Civ 6) is :"Fast, Good, Cheap. Pick any TWO" which applicable to almost any situation in life, particularly in government (including the military) or business. With the implied corollary: "REALLY Fast, Really Good, Really Cheap. Pick any ONE"

Some of the quotes/comments/messages in Civ 6 are good and serious and interesting, others are so far from being true that they are obviously meant to be impossible and funny or sarcastic, but their very impossibility makes you think about or consider what was really true or happened.

I really loved and enjoyed the messages and short video clips for many of the Wonders and gaining Techs in Sid's Alpha Centauri and Alien Crossfire.

Another favorite of mine, I think came from an earlier edition of Civ: "The only thing worse than being talked about, is NOT being talked about" which applies perfectly to all of the people we read and hear about in the news, newspapers, and all the other media.
