It blocks the view during combat phase. I'd argue seeing who is attacking me where and by what unit is more important.

It's a little sad that with $170 price tag for the game and necessary DLC players are using mods to fix the most basic functions of the game (like being able to see the screen, for instance).

The game sends regular insulting messages. Odd. If people want that they can hire a Dom. I'd rather turn off all messages than mess around with mods that might work. Why no filter?
