Documents\My Games\Civilization VI\ does not exist. Help.

Hi,

I am able to play the game in a fully functional state. However, to install mods, I need to have access to this folder and it does not exist. Does anyone know why it doesn't exist? I am not having the same problem others are having when it comes to not being able to save the game--that works perfectly.

The folder is called Sid Meiers Civilization VI if that helps at all.

If that isn't it run a file search on the whole computer for the save name.

Yep tried a "This PC" scan already. Sorry I didn't elaborate on the actual folder name I know what it's called.

Try doing a "this pc" search for .Civ6Save which is the file type.

Its not possible that your "My Documents" folder doens't exist

Run steam as an admin if you're having that issue

That folder is where your saves are being saved. If it isn't there, it's somewhere else.

I ran as admin and there is still no folders in my documents. I have an exception in Windows Defender and still not working. My pc is updated.
