Roman Legion Question
When you upgrade them, can infantry also build forts or clear nuclear waste?

In one game, I upgraded a Legion to Musketman and although the interface still had the "build" option it didn't work to build forts, only remove features. I don't know if this was an intended feature or a bug.

Haven't played them yet ... but the Forts have some charges like that from the military eng , so if you used them already it is gone !

The Roman Legion is one of the Civ6's poorly documented OP units.

It has the ability, ONE TIME, to build a fort -or- clear terrain. The fort building is meh. However, using them to clear forests, swamp, jungle and subsequantly reaping a nice production (+ food) boost is awesome.

This saves you from using a build 'charge' from your builders. Especially at the time you have up to 10 Legions running around and is the prime time to do some massive empire de-forestation. This is equivalent to having 3+ builders, for free.

I'm thinking that once you upgrade them, the ability to do anything is lost.
