If it is the one I think you mean, that sorta sounds like a male choral version of Enya, I beleive it is performed by Gregorian, if that helps. But I do not know the name of it.

The music has been such an incredible disapointment that I have it turned down. It's literally depressing and demoralizing to listen to the choices they've offered.

There are many songs played while you play, for now there are at least 18 songs in at least 4 different versions, so you'll have to specify a bit, which song you mean.

Arcara, not the song I was thinking of (not sure about the original poster) but I very much enjoyed the link. Music is so important in games these days. And, the music world is starting to take the game world seriously. After all they are both in the same basic business: entertainment. I am going to risk the off topic gong by posting a link to a song from another game, that I think most of us have played. The original game song was ok, but has been covered alot. This fairly recent cover knocks my socks off. Top drawer orchestra, soloist, and arrangement.

there's a few versions of similar music in the game. She moves through the fair, scarabourgh fair, Danny boy etc. All with very similar music styles. Very repetitive.

Like I notice the glowing posts by players acclaiming the music as being wonderful but in any of my games the music has tended to stick to two-three songs each of which are extremely similar to each other. Would have liked to see far more variety of music styles rather than the focus on celtic origin type music.

I am somewhat bemnused by your question since you are using the forums yourself, but I'll try to help. People come here to ask questions and make statements concerning the game. Others, like myself and you, can respond. No one needs a special pass or anything. It's just open to anyone who would like to post. You seem to be doing pretty well so far. Just keep up the good work and enjoy!

One of the music choices, I recognised immediately from Arab restaurants.

My guess is that each one is themed to the different civs.

Scarborough Fair is one of the songs.

At one time i play the germans and the russian theme always played. I just got fed up with it and started to listen to an audio book.
