How can I see what era I'm in?

Is there a way to overview what era I'm in and what comes next? Like in Civ 5 I could see all the eras in the research tree.

Same way, check the Tech tree and/or the Civic tree in the upper left (whichever one you're farthest ahead in is your era).

But it doesnt say what technologies are in which era and so on

Look at the scroll bar at the bottom, it will display all civs along a line, and the line will be "chopped up" according to eras.

Look at the background image, there's clear dividing lines for each era.
