Since the formation of silicon valley the transistor and the birth of the internet I would say they have been on permanent future techs for the best part of the previous century which could end up with some kind of scientific transcendent victory with the development of AI and immortality.
I think that the real world is playing with all victories disabled so China could finally win on a score victory perhaps ?
But I actually think America already won a cultural victory as American entertainment, products and services are all pervasive globally and influence every country's inhabitants even its greatest enemies, perhaps the only country preventing American cultural victory now is North Korea ?
or did America achieve diplomatic victory with the UN after the 2nd WW ?
