I'm not able to get an injured Guru
Hi !!

I'm trying to get a Guru injured, in order to heal itself (to get the 7 heals achievement), and I've been trying and running around with a guru, trying to have itself attacked from other religious units... but it never happens. I can't attack with it and all my religious enemies ignore the Gurus. Anything I'm missing? Was there a unique way to have the heal from Gurus 2 tiles away from its location or it has to be adjacent to it?

Any help? Any tip I might be missing? Thanks.

Try looking for a route that enemy religious units are using to go somewhere and put your guru in the middle of the route. Or else put it on or very near a city that they will/are trying to convert to their religion. I have only built one or two gurus, but I did get one of them attacked by another religious unit.

Oh I tried, believe me. I think I'll have to make a wall of Gurus in front of all cities... they won't have a choice but to attack. Thnks for answer.

Gurus are healers. Meaning they can't spread religion. Ergo they are not a threat to any other religious units - including other gurus. In short: they will never get attacked, because they pose no threat.

Well, I finally did get attacked. I sent a guru into an enemy's capital, I slept the guru right next to the capital, and it took about 4 or 5 turns, and apostles showed up and attacked it. I then ran away and got the achievement.

I have been trying to use any religious units I can make to combat enemy gurus and they just stack on top of them and won't attach. Religious units make great spotters for bombers because they are mostly ignored by AI even in the hardest difficulty settings. I see the enemy gurus sitting around my tiles and I just want them gone so they don't see my units and can't bomb them when I leave them in between cities.

I think it might be because my religion and theirs are the same. I hadn't bothered to found a religion until late game and have been taking all his cities so I produced units from his own religion.
