Shockingly, he actually led a full army with varied units into my lands while I was in the middle of a war with Persia.
Fortunately I pushed him back but still, that taught me to be naive as the kongo.
EDIT: Fortunately, it seems he hadn't expected me to have the Kongo swordsman UU.
I'm playing a lot of big TSL maps and Russia and Norway always go at it...
Sometimes though he just randomly spouts it.
I like to think it's just the old viking getting bored and wanting to raid someone.
Oh don't get me started on Cleo. How is my army of 9 Kongo swordsman CORPS weak, Cleo? I was beating up Persia while you complained about my weakness, then I beat up Norway's attempted invasion, and then I beat back YOUR invasion! WITH SWORDSMEN!
Haha yeah I'm sure they only go by a numbers game and not power. So if they have 50 warriors and you have 2-3 tank armies, they may just consider you weak. :P
Oh I am not sure who it is, I forget now but I love being called poor when I have 20k+ gold and every other civ has less than a couple of thousand each.
That happened to me, too. I had a high income of about 100 a turn, too, and I was told I was heading towards bankruptcy.
