Science Victory not triggering

I am currently playing a game with ONLY science victory enabled. I've taken over every other civs, researched everything, launched sattelite, moon rocket and all 3 Mars parts. The cutscene with the rockets going off is playing, but then the game just continues afterwards.

I've checked the rankings and I've cleared all the requirements, still the science victory isn't triggering. And since science is the only possible victory, it means the game will never end.

I've tried loading an older save from before I started the Mars rockets and redid the whole thing again, still no victory.

Is it because there are no other civs left? Or is it just a very annoying bug?

The only second victory you can get after "Just one more turn..." in Civ 5 is a domination victory. Six is probably the same way.
