I know Terry, but i do manage well cities and districts, but still i takes to long. Example, a samurai took 20 turns to build, thats 200 years bro... Too much
And mrmike has a point, the game IS war driven... So you need an efficient military.
I really like that everything you build is a choice and option between many things.
If things where popping out every turn......this would just get boring.
You discover a tech, and y the time you finish building an army, its obsolite... Also, to few units... Both players and AI should spawn more units...
THAT's another thing and very much an issue.
There is a surprisingly easy "fix". A mod called "Take your Time". It slows down research for ALL (not just you), and gives you a game where you get to play the whole thing!
I highly recommend it!
Thanks
I do all that. But what am saying is, you loose to much time building an effective army. I use Divine Church civ to spawn units like crasy and the Wonder Venisian Arsenal to get two ships when i build one, but still, you loose almost 300 years betweem building and moving an army to attack position
Correct, a good MOD would fix this. We can use the "Divine Church" to purchase units with faith like crazy, but that means building a civ with focus on faith, and i dont like doing that, i aim for gold and science...
What, I mean every one knows Japan started building planes to attack pearl harbor in 1650... :)
Yes, they do. And they are much smarter in most their attacks.
I like mods, but that CQUI messes with way to much and have never been very stable. The Mod works but kinda fights with alot of the core civ mechanics. Play without it.
