Additional technologies per era would be nice and I always felt that the game, whether you were sure to win or still struggling, by the end, was made pointless by a single blanket research on "future tech". Gotta have a bit more of an imagination than that. >.>
The regional bonuses from building dont stack so you are only getting that bonus from 1 factory for example. So you could spread them out and have all big cities just building most of the districts in most of your cities. You would miss out on some bonuses from a couple wonders like that though. I like the close style too, thats usually what i do. A few big cities spread out with smaller ones (4-7 population) surrounding them.
