Petra fans, post your glorious petra cities!

I'm kinda obsessed with petra wonder, as it is capable of turning cities with certain desert locations into ultimate powerhouse cities... You would need some luck to find the right spot to get the most advantage from petra, but when you do, it would be amazing...

Anyone has build some glorious petra cities? Please share yours! With screenshots and tile yield UI turned on if possible to truly showcase the glory of petra city :D

Lol that's insane, I do have a question, how did you manage to grow and build that city in the 1st place? Without petra it would have no food, how did you even manage to complete petra in the first place? unless no one else compete against you.

Oh wait, it's a 1 pop city, that's involved some cheating isn't it?

I want to see some proper petra city, not one built by cheating.

Nope trade routes won't make such city grow and works, besides from that screenshot, it's shown as the 1st turn of the game.

That isn't a proper peta city :-/

One pop city with petra and ruhr valley, in a fully disclosed map with no other cities. And is it only my impression or the city already has Ruhr Valley but it's 3 turns away from completing industrial district...? Firetuner, for sure. ;)

I had a very nice one, a couple of months ago, with four hills around an industrial district and the Ruhr valley but it was coastal and even had a small lake (so it wasn't that perfect). Unfortunatelly didn't take a screenshot and the savegame no longer exists... so, I can't post any picture.
But I'm a petra fan, and I'm always on the look for those desert tiles, to see where are plenty hills and a river, to try a go for the mega-desert-city.

Playing on immortal, it's rare I get to complete Petra

I wish I had something to post. I play on King and Emperor, and often lose out to the AI when building Petra. It seems they prioritize it.

Well you have to build petra on your first or second cjty to win the race, any later is too late.

I had a pretty cool spot (not perfect but really good) with plenty of desert mountains, but couldn't finish petra in time... so, not so soon I'll be able to post a pic of a petra installment.

i always play on either immortal or deity and regularly get petra built. like op, im kinda obsessed with this wonder and if i have a good location for it, ill rush to build it first
