Why is Tomyris's hair white?
All the art shows her hair black!

In your graphics options are shadows turned off? If they are try turning them on.

Knew someone who had the same problem. Some other leaders like Harald, Teddy and Mvemba also had white hair and beards, and Frederich looked like a supernova.

'tis an issue on your side, and iirc it has nothing to do with the game or its options at all?

I oughta ask 'em again to be sure.

At least we know she ages well.

How far along in the Civics tree are you? When you discover the late game Civic 'Social Media', all the leaders update their profile photos with images about 20 years younger than their actual age. So it's not unusual that they look older when you do actually meet them via a diplomatic exchange.

This is not a bug; I recall a Dev Diary entry where this was described as a feature to improve immersion.

your memory fails. it is actually an option. I had the same problem due to my pc being too weak to load the graphics at high. I unchecked all, dropped everything to low/disabled and voila.

Animated leaders fixed it for me though.
