Or ignore the city all together.
/any problems ever with sieging
Then you should not only be using battleships that have all the district defense promotions, but they should also be upgraded to Cruisers by now.
I've never seen a game where the enemy had 174 defense and I was so useless to not have Cruisers by then.
Also, two battleships isn't enough. You need at least three in every game.
Four is even sweeter.
Complete destruction of any city in a few minutes.
But you need those district defense promotions.
I'm about to retreat and nuke the city, then go back in and take it. I guess It'll be good practice dealing with fallout.
I can't imagine 174 defense.
174 defense ? damn, Battleships are in no way or shape ever going to crack a 174 defense City, would be best to upgrade them to missile cruisers. maybe Rocket arty spam and jet bomber spam, and if you are still struggling to take the city, just nuke it but make sure you don't have any units near the city.
