The file is gone :-/
I did that under Ubuntu-Linux and it works. Doing that manually this should also work under Windows or MacOSX too.
I've arranged this single bash command that I've used under Ubuntu-Linux.
cd ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Sid\ Meier\'s\ Civilization\ VI/steamassets/base/platforms/windows/movies && mv bink2_aspyr_logo_black_white_1080p_30fps.bk2 bink2_aspyr_logo_black_white_1080p_30fps.bk2.orig && mv logo_2kfiraxis.bk2 logo_2kfiraxis.bk2.orig && mv logos.bk2 logos.bk2.orig && mv civ6_cinematic.bk2 civ6_cinematic.bk2.orig && echo "QklLaQwBAAABAAAA4AAAAAEAAACAAgAA4AEAAA8AAAABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA1AAAAFAEAAGgAAABXwX9l/BARAAAAAAAAABEAAIAgbdu2bdu2AYK0bdu2bdsGCGIAAAAAAAAAAECQtm3btm3bAEHatm3btm0DBBEEadu2bdu2DRCkbdu2bds2AIW2/f8AFAQo2rZt+/8BAAAAAAAAV8F+ZewAAAAAEQgAAAARAACAIP///////////////wFL/P///////x9YIgIAAAAAAAAAoOD/CwAAAAAAV8F+ZewAAAAAEQgAAAARAACAIP///////////////wFL/P///////x9YIgIAAAAAAAAAoOD/CwAAAAAA" | base64 -d > blank.blk && cp blank.blk bink2_aspyr_logo_black_white_1080p_30fps.bk2 && cp blank.blk logo_2kfiraxis.bk2 && cp blank.blk logos.bk2 && cp blank.blk civ6_cinematic.bk2
This will rename the logo-movies and the intro-movie to *.orig, create the blank.blk from the base64-encoded string and copy it to the expected files.
Here the same commands as separated commands:
cd ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Sid\ Meier\'s\ Civilization\ VI/steamassets/base/platforms/windows/movies
mv bink2_aspyr_logo_black_white_1080p_30fps.bk2 bink2_aspyr_logo_black_white_1080p_30fps.bk2.orig
mv logo_2kfiraxis.bk2 logo_2kfiraxis.bk2.orig
mv logos.bk2 logos.bk2.orig
mv civ6_cinematic.bk2 civ6_cinematic.bk2.orig
echo "QklLaQwBAAABAAAA4AAAAAEAAACAAgAA4AEAAA8AAAABAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA1AAAAFAEAAGgAAABX
wX9l/BARAAAAAAAAABEAAIAgbdu2bdu2AYK0bdu2bdsGCGIAAAAAAAAAAECQtm3btm3bAEHatm3b
tm0DBBEEadu2bdu2DRCkbdu2bds2AIW2/f8AFAQo2rZt+/8BAAAAAAAAV8F+ZewAAAAAEQgAAAAR
AACAIP///////////////wFL/P///////x9YIgIAAAAAAAAAoOD/CwAAAAAAV8F+ZewAAAAAEQgA
AAARAACAIP///////////////wFL/P///////x9YIgIAAAAAAAAAoOD/CwAAAAAA" | base64 -d > blank.blk
cp blank.blk bink2_aspyr_logo_black_white_1080p_30fps.bk2
cp blank.blk logo_2kfiraxis.bk2
cp blank.blk logos.bk2
cp blank.blk civ6_cinematic.bk2
Yes, I can click away the intro movie. And since I've seen it many times I've decided to skip it automatically too.
